Barbara is one of the salon owners with her husband Jacob, and she also manages Jacob's Salon and oversees its operation. Barbara is a Master Colorist & Master Stylist with over 32 years experience, who specializes in Balayage, Highlights, Lived in Blonde, Ombre, All over color,  and new color matching,  lowlights, color corrections, design color, Vivids, Bleach/double processing, and design haircutting, precision and texture cutting with both scissor and razor techniques, and updo and formal styling. Barbara has had extensive education and training over the years from various sources, including well known industry names like Vidal Sassoon, Sebastian, Toni & Guy, Actyva, and more. Barbara is currently licensed in North Carolina, and Florida. She has also been licensed in the state of California , where she initially began her career in Cosmetology. Barbara runs and manages the salon, and has also had past experience as management, and mentorship for hair color formulations, corrections and application techniques, along with creative advertisement and business operations . Barbara is passionate about hair color and absolutely loves doing hair!

Jacob's Salon is proud to annouce our new stylist Marianna. She has over 30 years of extensive practise and training and she is a Master Colorist and Stylist, and Barber with over 30 years experience as a colorist, stylist, barber, salon manager, and educator. We think you will just love Marianna, who is  talented, skilled ,personable, and friendly with an upbeat personality to match her talents. Originally from the midwest region of the united states, Mariann has practised hairstylising in Florida, Illinois and North Carolina. Marianna is absolutely passionate about hair color and absolutely loves doing hair! She specializes in all types of hair coloring: color correction, Highlighting, Vivids, and men's and women's haircutting in both scissor and razor techniques.

Jacob & Barbara are the owners who are committed to enhancing a friendly, and caring spirit for the staff, by promoting teamwork, dedication, continuing education, and service, while making sure that there is a professional, pleasant, inviting and friendly atmosphere for the salon clients. We are just as dedicated to the perfection of the art, as well as the client's experience while visiting. We are confident that you will be as pleased with our talented stylists as much as we are. Barbara is both manager and a Master Colorist and Stylist, and oversees the techniques, color formulations and is in charge of this aspect of the business. Jacob is in charge of any customer feedback and customer service, along with advertisement operations.

We are currently seeking talented and experienced stylists who love color and design haircutting to join our team. We pay top commissions, and bonuses,and is based on experience and expertise levels. We are a friendly, and very busy salon in an excellent location in the Kernersville Southside Shopping center located next to Target. We are an 8 chair salon that caters to a color clientele, along with design cuts for men, women and children with no appointment needed. We also cater to those who prefer appointments, or the choice to either walk-in, call in, and or schedule appointments. Our services include design haircutting, and styles, expert haircolor services, highlights, Baylayage, color correction, vivid color, perms, Olaplex conditioning treatments, Organic haircolor and retail product line available also, waxing.
